Congratulations are in order for our very own Mr. Jason Sturkie and our team in Anderson. This past month, Mr. Sturkie and his team have won two Social Security hearings by getting a favorable decision from the bench. For those of you who are familiar with the Social Security Disability process, you know that it is often and long and arduous endeavor that all culminates at the hearing stage. A Social Security Disability hearing consist of testimonies, questioning, and a review of medical evidence in addition to a number of other things. Many times, the Judge at the hearing will take all of the evidence into consideration for weeks at a time while writing a decision. This means that those who have waiting years for a hearing now have to wait even longer for a decision. For two of our recent clients, though, the waiting was over at the hearing. After all of the evidence had been presented and considered at the hearings, the Judge granted disability to our clients on the spot. This is a very rare occurrence and only comes with a lot of hard work and preparation. We are proud to have such an outstanding attorney working for our clients.
